Dogma...

Man has always strived in the pursuit of perfection, achievement and satisfaction. When God asked how much life span would you seek to have, man was not sure and hence God had to hard stop at the upper end of hundred years. However, not a century is required to demonstrate how this opportunity is to be relished- a dog can showcase that, what a man cannot.

Dogs have always fascinated me ever since I think I could comprehend things around me. Curiosity, wisdom, faith, loyalty, emotions, zero negativity, eternal compassion, gratitude, affection, attachment, commitment, patience, bonding, involvement devoid of expectations… I fall short of vocabulary on what man eternally strives for and what a dog has perpetually stood for. Eyes show you the world however you can see his world in his eyes. Eyes of a dog would reveal the world of virtues probably a blogger won’t be capable of expressing.

A decade of companionship is memory of a lifetime. You just cannot measure what all you got and how human upbringing gets cultivated in the warm shadow of this amity… While man keeps toggling with the idea of perceived perfect living, the canine existence thoughtlessly completes the envied roller coaster ride, without regrets, vengeance and unfulfilled longing.

The bond remains strong beyond the fence of time - only the one who has been through would know that. A life lived is supreme than a life survived… to our surprise even a dog teaches us that yet we keep on learning the same…

Midst of a busy road…

The way we live is aptly canvased by a panorama in the midst of a busy road. None participants similar, yet sharing a remarkable resemblance in the sense of urgency and indifference. Each one craves for one more inch, yet another inch on the road chosen. Time at the crossroad is a moment for the traveler to look at the destitution and disparity on all accounts of life, usually intended to be ignored. Pleading palms and eyes- few genuine and few not, do not have a slightest impact on the preoccupied onlookers. Yet the cacophony of silence in the minds of the people clutters the road.

Each person is a labyrinth...Labyrinth of bonds, emotions, aspirations, needs, wants, desires, attachments and expectations. Such individual packages run through the day from the brink of dawn until the exhausted dark. The incredibility of this phenomenon is that, it continued for the years that passed, it is up and running occurrence today and it would continue for the time to come. The participants would change, the energies, attitudes would yet be undeterred.

The journey seems to be perpetually existent. The cycle continues. Next morning, the eye lashes struggle bereavement from the slumber. The light creeps in and all senses go ajar from the state of dormancy yet again with the same energies. The mind starts ticking and the human being is restored on the path known to be ephemerally perennial…

Credibly incredible aspect about this journey is, knowing that the existence is temporary does not deter the spirit of life. Be it a philosophical ignorance else, a supernaturally imbibed human attitude, the spirit of celebrating the new day is the epitome of existence.

Lattice...

The clouds were all cluttering like a typical football team conspiring on their next moves. The trees started swaying in resonance as if they knew something favorable is lined up subsequently. The birds were busy heading home. The soothing zephyr mingled with the delicate chirp of the birds that added to the ongoing ornamentation of nature. The foliage relished the aristocratic unplanned voyage with the sailing breeze. Finally the discussions were over & the minuscule water droplets started embracing the onlookers. The soil added onto the aroma & the stage was setup for a heavenly show.

Disagreement, disappointment, emphasized individuality, non-cooperation & distrust wass no where seen. Birds, leaves, soil, trees, clouds, breeze, water droplets all were on the same platform. A similar phenomenon takes shape when the human minds resonate.

This resonance is true beyond all self defined cardinal parameters of blood bonds, region, religion or even the geographical distances. This is merely incredible yet very much true. Human mind is a complex labyrinth & much work has been done until now in order to decipher the mysteries within. Nature offers a parallel representation of the pilot scheme of what happens when the human minds are in tandem. These bonds are beyond the fundamental, stark and prominent realms of “I, me, and myself”.

Such an intangible yet dominant is this human attribute that it has been a potent reason for even the survival of many. “Human bonds” is an unpopular subject to touch upon in this materialistic-today. However, those are the only perpetual entities that can survive the tests of time. Bonding is what nature preaches through varied landscapes and instances. When human being is such a frugal subset of nature, denying the fundamentals is like fighting a lonely & already lost battle with a deliberate black scarf on the eyes; to add to the irony, realizing later that, it was- in first not a battle but a beautiful lifelong celebration to experience!

Arabian nights

Our Arabian nights finally culminated for the time being! Not that Saudi Arabia is uninhabitable. Yet a person is definitely conditioned and aligned with the comfort zone defined by his upbringing and by the culture where he ultimately belongs.

Isn’t it an interesting fact worth acknowledging that the human beings are often surprised by merely knowing about one another that is so distinct?; and this distinction is chartered by the geographical distances, the governing environmental conditions, the culture & traditions preserved and cherished since ages and the history that they have been through till date!

The psychology, in terms of the anticipation of rights, expectation on the different freedoms, perception of what is good or bad, what are the necessary and sufficient degrees of theism, concept of security, relative view on hospitality and hostility, the type of governance and the generic notion of good living, is all drastically different for the very same human beings of a single global village. The exploration of such an amount of variety in a single category of life form is certainly a fascinating and a breath-taking experience. More interesting is the fact that we ourselves cultivated the variety and as a result, the volume of things now worth exploring is enormous.

Yet all said and one, coming back where one belongs is a wonderful feeling- beyond the capacity of my under-developed writing prowess! Exploring and acknowledging diversity is the essence of self-discovery as well. Moreover, when this journey becomes interesting, then the food, climate and change of comfort zone, self-defined stringency of specific requirements becomes marginally important. Unknown lands with unaccustomed living conditions offer a perfect platter not only to discover the place, but also to gaze deeper within ourselves. It helps to know what we head towards and how do we rather how should we perceive our reactions of the past and better view for the future. Discovering new horizons and coming home at the end of the day is a fascinating pattern of personal enrichment. Birds live life the similar way! After all, belonging somewhere is the essence of individuality and survival.

The mind would yet again become inquisitive next time when the plane glides with a wind shattering speed on some unknown distant runway!

A white interpretation of a black swan…

Palpable things always score well when it comes to the “human comprehension” yard stick. Due to the esoteric aspects involved, the abstract themes are often not regarded worthy of a discussion. Yet, certainly- not being materialistic, not completely engaged in & not appreciating the worldly affair is distinct from revering and comprehending the invisible yet dominant aspects of our living. The subject might appeal only a meager audience. Where conveying is a challenge and definitions could be fluid, relative and judgmental- not themselves abiding by the word “definition”- the writer’s creation and the writer himself happens to be at the stake of varied judgments. Despite being a stakeholder, the writer is driven by the subject that is potent enough- definitely worthy of a small space may be!

Charlie Chaplin once said, “I love walking in the rain so that no one can identify me crying.” His father deserted him before his age could comprehend; his mother lost her income there after and later the very psychological calm pre-requisite for a meaning survival. His childhood was characterized with authoritarian boarding schools and continual quest for earning the supper. The environment around then painted a mural of “pain” for him; yet years later he epitomes smiles, laughter and lighter moments in the lives of millions across the world. That was his reaction to counter pain. It was some sort of an impeccable life story that was carved personifying a virtue contrary to what he personally went through!

Certainly it takes eligibility to talk of this towering persona and hence I opt to talk about “pain” and not Chaplin! Thought he should be quoted in here because this man looked pain in the eye and probably no-one knows better what it is!

“PAIN” could be an abbreviation of “Personalized Act of Inducing Notional discomfort”. We can term it “notional” since most of the elements involved are created in the psychological panorama; all in the mind though not always unreal. Here we specifically address the mental pain- one more abstruse than the physical one. The complex human mind is compatible with and habitual to nurturing expectation and association. Anticipated or unanticipated bereavement is something beyond easy human acceptance. The incredible virtue of the human behavior is- despite knowing that the varied entities around including himself have an ephemeral nature, he (the human) lives as if the current variants were eternal.

Pain might have erudite interpretations and ways to explore in the scholarly works. Yet the lay interpretation might be sufficient if we look at it as an effect of two major causes- bereavement and expectation. Bereavement in terms of abrupt ebb of long cherished inter-human associations- accidental else intentional & continual and persistent surge of expectations inline with the personalized set-points carve the way for pain. Looked that way- human mind is a control system governed by the cumulative effect of the set-points, feedbacks, controlled and uncontrolled disturbances around- with “pain” being an undesired outcome.

No one regards pain with a positive connotation. Yet there is a fairer face to this black swan. Imagine a survival without pain. Had pain not made its presence amply evident, not having pain would not be evident either! Thus is the “pain” which signifies its contrary state of mind. Life follows the growth- growth in terms of physical, psychological and materialistic. Pain too endorses growth. Pain with its presence canalizes the mind to think, makes the mind acknowledge a situation out of the comfort zone. Out of this zone, the reaction and the overall perspective undergo a restructuring. Periodic re-evaluation or introspection is imperative for the mental growth which is undoubtedly nurtured by the presence of pain. Revisiting the perception and perspective is the essence of a human survival; had they been pre-defined and stagnant, life would have been a monotonous affair. Pain facilitates an environment, conducive for broadening this landscape.

Thus going beyond the typical thought matrix that categorizes a state of mind as positive or negative, it is important to gauge what that shade of human mind truly governs and where it offers a vista for growth oriented opportunities in disguise!

Against the Gods

A piece of novel art- duplication of which is beyond the capacity of even the original creator is known as a masterpiece. Of all that was created by god, human spirit was such an unparalleled virtue. The indefatigable and the charismatic attribute of this handiwork has been so impeccable that the mesmerized gods keep on re-validating the design for centuries that passed and the ones to come!

“Contingency” always strikes the unprepared- that is how the word was coined to mean. Yet the Japanese episodes are characterized beyond the routine connotation of interpretations. The view of vehicles being tossed around, infrastructure being submerged and destroyed, and human / non-human existence undergoing an uncontrolled massacre in a matter of moments- represented the shear physical inability of a life to surmount nature or super natural demolishers! If the mere “view” sent shivers down the spine- the surviving witnesses should certainly have accounts that cannot be captured in words and in the realms of imagination.

Japan witnessed similar catastrophes in the past. Such an upheaval is always followed by bereaved surviving millions, crumbled infrastructure, shattered hopes, helpless remains of the shivering existence and renewed fear of an uncertain future. Yet every time it is struck with disaster, the resilient human spirit gathers itself to re-build hope and positivism. The tenacity for a quality survival and an unflinching belief in human capacities would certainly leave the splashing waves mystified on whether they hit the same shores- when they come knocking the next time.

The survivors, saviors and the reformers already into action are all aware of the possible dreadful re-occurrence anytime in the future. Yet this does not confine the effort to revamp the past and the present state of shamble. Leaving the comfort zone for capturing higher podiums is always exacting; however starting afresh in this quest, after uncontrolled and compelled time frames is itself a podium delivering doctrines of unique human spirits.

I wonder if we really need a mystical bird “phoenix” when the attributes of our own people depict exemplary virtues of optimism and revere for dignified existence!

Living personified!

Tangible and intangible variants of a meaningful survival are best appealed when addressed metaphorically. Passion is such a sublime and a predominant attribute venerated distinctly amongst all facets of positive life connotations.

Thought and the associated action are the fundamental aspects that distinguish human survival from that of the others. Thought is a stray framework of a non-empty mind and a good thought is certainly a monopoly of none. Yet it takes passion to live the thought, to protect it dearly from the impediments or from the mind bogglers that may come in between and to carry it all the way to a meaningful implementation.

Passion is a genre of living. It has a distinct aroma of accomplishment, energy and is characterized by an indomitable urge to create something that lives beyond a human life. It makes one feel that a continual quest towards making a difference is the vital ingredient of living.

A keen observation reveals that flowing water is always pure while the stagnant one settles the sediments within. Life can be contemplated from this water analogy. It is intrinsically not pure and has many imperfect sediments that bother us consistently either in conscious or in our subconscious state of mind. Yet it is important to move on and wash away the imperfections of the past. A potent force similar to a forceful stream is vital for this psychological cleansing and this is the precise virtue we currently address.

Passion runs in the veins as the driver to face life head-on and in first place it inculcates a strong reason to be. It plays a crucial role in embellishing a life; pretty similar to adding fragrance to the flower without which it wouldn’t have had much of a justified existence. And most importantly beyond an individual circle, passion radiates passion.

The areas requiring a passionate and staggering amount of involvement are fortunately else unfortunately unbound. This necessitates staunch game changers creating a worth around. The idea is not to live forever, but to create something that will.

Revision β

“Today is the first day of my remaining life”- quotes American beauty, a popular Hollywood film; certainly a short yet a riveting line of thought. The mental conditioning is a predominant and a perpetual aspect governing the reactions of a person and the panorama he or she nurtures and keeps re-designing while looking ahead.

In the course of time, the thinking pattern undergoes a sea of change depending on the environment, exposure, experiences and the ephemeral trait of most instances around. If something is permanent it is change- this being a long time advocated paradox. Imagining each human being in a perennial tour to derive more meaning to the way he or she lives, thinks; and this being sensed by millions around without a slightest sense of fatigue throughout the lengthy human life span- is incredible and simply a divine creation of nature. I am thoroughly awe-struck at times by this everlasting epidemic designing the intent of core human existence!

The persistent quest for attaining distinct thinking platforms might be obscure at times yet it is very much the inherent part of our lives. Even without embracing esoteric philosophies and dwelling into abstract topics of discussion; it is possible and worth experiencing to look at the multiple dimensions people derive to look at life. Aspirations, goals, definitions, gauging paradigms, positive and negative connotations- every thing is the conditioned and customized by-product creation substantiating the measurement of the not-so measurable entities.

Re-defining the way of work, the goals, the perceptions and the overall perspective on a recurrent front probably enables this journey to be rewarding. Relentless receptiveness to these revisions is perhaps the measure of sane survival.

Assimilating 2010

Days and nights flip around and since times memorial, the calender turn-around has been popularly perceived as a benchmarking time frame to re-visit the past introspective arenas. People across the world have different notions and relative shades of perceptions associated with the realms of comfort, happiness, achievement, satisfaction, public display, genuineness, career, love, desire, need, want, commitment, deception and money to list a few. Everyone is knowingly else unknowingly in the continual quest of seeking a better vantage on these abstract zones.

Last year has been a roller coaster ride with a superfluity of opportunities to explore places, people and self. It is a normal human tendency to be judgmental which at times creates hindrances in developing a panorama to perceive the things appropriately and to reason out why they exist as they do. Our judgment- of people and things abstract along with the associated expectations, is fundamental in sowing seeds of hope, aspiration and anticipation on one hand while of utter dismay, shock and pain on the other. Judgment governs our reaction, while the judgment is thoroughly governed by our perception. Perception is in turn shaped by our bandwidth of self-exploration on a psychological front.

Introspection should be an indispensable aspect of living. It embellishes the thought process while it acts as a tracker streamlining the turbulent times. While there could be plethora of ways to go around this personal thought process, I am thoroughly convinced that deep-diving unfamiliar places is certainly a potent way in this quest.  It aids in broadening our perspective, challenging our fundamental premises that hold true as foundation of our beliefs and notions of pain, endurance, contentment and fulfillment. It is an opportunity to witness and experience ocean of perceptions, faiths and convictions people have. It is an opportunity to re-evaluate our comfort zones and re-visit our hardened beliefs. A calm peace of mind would reveal a theory of introspection yet we could have myriad ways for different people to find out what thought process works out best for them.

2010 witnessed exploring abundance! I witnessed myself on a distinct thought podium on the personal, professional and social fronts- helping me to decipher different people extensively and refining my notions on manifold aspects as well.  The most impressive phenomena in my opinion has been the fact that even after ornamenting our perspective with our current convictions of broadest corridors, we always tend to find a better vantage point to look at things afresh; That is the beauty of self-exploration, psychology and the perpetual novelty life can offer if permitted.

The new year has already rolled in to offer new vigor and fresh outlook to decode different realms of experiencing completeness, happiness and accomplishment. Having already entered into 2011, I wish all close friends happy, thoughtful and interesting times ahead!

Guzarish- Request to interpret a request!

Helplessness and a dignified survival is a volatile combination to co-exist when existent for a prolonged duration testing human endurance. This could be one of the statements one can frame up as the gist of a movie I recently saw.

A movie crafted thoughtfully to ornament the spirit of life! Not that it intends to successfully elude the awkwardness and sentimental dilemma after choosing a somber topic like euthanasia. Yet the intricacies of the relationships, the gravity in the roles different people have to play and the study of human psychology through varied sides of a pyramid makes it a commendable piece of art! “Euthanasia” as a topic has been touched upon many a times though it remained a mere collage of sentiments with whom a million sympathize and a very few empathize. Rests of them do not feel it is vote worthy.

The film charters its scope beyond the routine realms of optimism and pessimism. It trespasses these horizons to explore the plethora of human emotions- the ebb and surge of these sentiments for the paralyzed central character while he is in the continued course of sustaining the hum drum realities of his daily existence. Human psychology is as diverse as the multitude of characters we explore. Not only the person seeking euthanasia, but also his nurse living his life and having right over his life more than he does, his mother, his lawyer friend, his doctor, his disciple and his servants- all have their roles to play, their story to tell and their strong presence to be felt in the times of his helpless existence.

In the span of two hours the story passes through the terrains of sublime love, experiencing stardom, platonic friendship, betrayal, endurance, helplessness, forgiveness, pain, fear, hope, sacrifice, desire, motherhood, legal overview, untamed public scrutiny and yet very much vibrant- the ultimate quest of deciphering and controlling life as well as death.

Beyond doubt the sensitivity of the topic has thorough potential of getting ruined by shoddy performances of the actors. They do deserve a round of applause on this regard. Yet the strength of the art undoubtedly lies in the inception of the concept, urge and necessity to present such an unpopular topic on a showcasing platform which is subject to public judgment. A genuine art often fails the entertainment test and frequently repels the financial taste. Yet it is praiseworthy and inspirational to know that the cult of people looking beyond the mainstream success definitions does exist.

It is certainly not a typical emotional melodrama all set to dehydrate the audiences of their tears. In fact every character including the cynosure- advocates life; the issue of debate comes in when a case specific analysis gets into the legal frame of judgment. Ending life was never justified and permitted in any religion. The question is as yet unresolved in the legal domains either. Life jiggles between the hope to die and attain comfort and endurance and helplessness as daily companions for a person who is left without movements beyond his head yet not devoid of emotions a normal human being does have. What could be life for a person alive to this extent and ridden to a bed for around two decades? What could be life for a person living some one else’s life- while nursing him and after he ultimately gets relieved of his painful twenty years existence? What exactly goes behind the mind of the lawyer when she is compelled to fight to her fullest capacities for the death of her best friend? These are a few questions and might be worth giving a thought for some!

With changed descriptors of “entertainment” I am sure a topic like this would have a very few takers. No one is at fault though. Entertainment has always been safeguarded as a relative virtue. People dissociate themselves from the topics provoking thought. However advocating off stream subjects, usually perceived as unnecessary complex mind bogglers, is no where on the current agenda. Yet, within the boundaries of personal jurisdiction, the subject does endorse the intent of deciphering life.

Intangible things govern the tangible survival

Silence should be a lonely virtue. The necessity of expression has been such a governing attribute since ages that even today the world continues to device ways to uncover the concealed sentiments and vent the million psychological upheavals within! Ways of expression are in multitude yet in first place the core significance of “an outlet” has been the distinguishing factor of human existence.

Looking around displays a crowd of happy, unhappy, deceived, deceptive, self-soothing, canny, uncanny individuals yet each one seems to be in the continued quest of some hypothetical aspiration. As and how more and more faces are explored, life quaffs in myriad examples of varying degrees of pain that some one experienced in a different degree. If something is ever quoted as pain, its superlative version is always existent. This fact is the perennial platform for deciphering life.  The fact that various shades of the emotional phases are the result of the cause-effect lattice woven by the behavioral complexities of the individuals involved- makes it the most esoteric aspect of human psychology.

Abstract discussions always experience the dearth of textual explanations. Yet, scrutiny of these intangible realms should be imperative for self-exploration.

The chauvinist way...

Troubled by the abstract queries about the purpose of life coupled with the materialistic pain of losing- life defines itself as a challenge. There are many questions: how to react on losing someone, how to react when someone looses faith in you, when someone dear expires, how not to be bogged down by the mundane realities of living? Living should be a worthy experience though. Apart from those who want to breathe and think that having a life ideology is immaterial, a chauvinist is the one who can survive here. One who is so desperate for something that his desire drives his survival, his mind gets stoic at some point of his life to help him heal his past, to help him so as not to think about those who killed his faith. There comes a point in a lifetime when one gets alone searching for reasons. There needs to be a reason for everything that happens with us, to us. Many insist not thinking about things too seriously. However if that is how a happy living all about, I smell a digressed ramp walk of millions around. Why is it that one should get going into an abstract void now and then? Chauvinist is an end result of not mindless action, on the contrary he is the creation of the quest to resolve the unanswered questions. The life situations/ mental framework keep throwing gauntlets due to which he seeks and acquires something to such intensity. The end outcome is an elevated mind frame a bit more mature in the continued quest to decipher life. Vantage point changes with each tribulation. Some call him passionate while maximum find him incompatible and a pessimist. The opinion is irrelevant for him be it favored else not since most of the things around there after cease to be more than a perception.

Finding everything in the abstract zone of nothingness...

The earth was an accident. The life on it was an accident too. The human evolution, with a strong backing from the all time popular Darwin’s say, was also a happening. No one made it happen it just happened. Everything out here seems to be so ephemeral at times. Paradox of the situation is that everyone is aware of everything, yet we are in a relentless league of finding a meaning to our existence and in a race of achieving nothing other than “a perception”, a picture of completeness that never seems to be complete and calls in for more and more all the time.

What next is the question to fiddle with! The code of conduct, the paradigms of success, the need of competition, the need to have more, sense of stigma in not achieving a particular thing- are all shades of a human mind- shaped by the society, imbibed by the upbringing and a million factors shaping the human soul once into this world. A materialistic aspiration is not a wrong expectation from life. I certainly do not advocate doing nothing because we do not have a hundred answers. Nevertheless, is pondering upon the cosmic quagmire behind our very survival not sensible?

I perceive that if human existence itself was an accident, finding a purpose of my stay here gets even murkier. Finding that purpose is a long-term exercise and many have said that urge for knowing the purpose keeps the journey worth living. While the content here shapes up to be even more abstract and attracts a sense of adsurdity, the unknown answers in this pool persistently keep me riddled.

Some one like Mother Terresa found the meaning of life in being a parent to a millions of those suffering around. A revolutionary thinks that the nation’s political independence is most important for a dignified human survival and he makes it his life pledge. While, some one like Aurobindo Ghosh- a staunch and a moderate freedom fighter leaves the stage in the eye of the battle. He envisages more meaning in finding the meaning to philosophical resolution of human existence than in the political freedom of India. “A nation”,“society”, “common class”,“disparity”,“assimilation of wealth”,”success”,“self-worth”- what ever be our scaling zones, they all are nothing but self-created conceptions. Nothing existed before we did. Each individual is running towards a goal that falls in the shadow of the above quoted arenas. Just that while running we tend to forget the end ribbon on the running track is never in sight, what so ever might be our age, experience, colour of our hair and wrinkles on the face!

Watching the show live on the 70mm screen...

The mundane lifestyle sometimes provokes introspection. Not to give a pessimistic else optimism shade to the content, yet I give another try to look at this live concert from a distant corner this time.

Imagine what life would be like when you are 30, when you are 35, when you are 45, when you are 55 may be! This thought keeps you guessing about the theme of the ongoing struggle. There are so many unknown variants at this point of time; Be it your career, the place you live, the money you earn, the satisfaction you achieve in the things you do; The happiness you are able to give to your loved ones, the “special” one you have on your side in the times good and bad, the maturity with which you look behind: at the happenings and the mishaps of the past…. the state of mind you reach in the urge to find the ultimate purpose!

Things could be so different. The attitude of looking at a few things today could be a subject of ridicule tomorrow as a few past happenings had a similar trend. Few days were thought to be the darkest days- when some one very dear expired, when some one very dear decided not to be dear. While a few other days were elligible for a celebration- when some interview was cracked, when some exam ended in a respectable style, when a poem was published, when a few brothers were made…

The gist of this live concert is that, it hides a multicoloured patch work- eagerly awaited by everyone. Nevertheless the novelty of the picture is untarnished. With time, the paradigms gauged change despite which the anxieties for knowing the unknown remain intact....

Dream of the future with its roots in the past portrays a true desire to achieve...

Passion is the essence of existence. Be it in the work, in the urge to achieve something, in the urge to be somewhere, to learn something... for that matter in whatever it is, the journey fails to be fulfilling...without that urge, that desire kept alive through years that come and go by. The burning fire, restlessness, faithful insomnia through all these years, persistent call of some distant destination, very dear nostalgia at the same time accompanied with the boiling blood for the always eagerly awaited future- they all make the game very much alive, worth living, worth fighting for...
I do not know when, when we can make things turn in the direction we want them to... Nevertheless, they feel worth fighting for. Had this continual desire not been there, I do not know what would have driven us all.

Despite cherishing a dream, neither do I wish to be judged nor do I wish to run in the rat race until I am short of breath. Dreams cherished by us are so special that they deserve and they ought to be nurtured and protected from the detrimental environment if around, from the people who have already fenced their reach, from the venomous and mundane sanctuary of so called "achievement measuring" paradigms. Numerous achievers had nothing but a staunch belief that it was "passion" if anything which had the invincible ability to satiate their unquenchable thirsts despite all unfavourable circumstances surrounding them.

Success, happiness, contentment and the sense of achievement are all relative. Epilogue for someone could be a preface for the other. In that context everyone is in the urge of a fat book. However it is important to understand that, whatever be the size of this book, a meaningful read demands continuity and a true desire- same is the case with our dreams as well!

Re-evolution

Revolution is a re-evolution. That is how I suppose it was coined for the past innumerable centuries and it would be perceived for the centuries to come. History is a witness to the fact that, that is what it always meant. It can be in a person, in a society, in a system, in anything and everything. Each individual is competent of being a reason for it. Man is a true social entity. Nevertheless, it has always possibly been undermined that this fact at times influences the very way a human mind shapes up and probably succumbs in the journey never tried. Potential of a human being if conditioned effectively to withstand the girding factors, is an immaculate piece of divine creation, unshaken and free from physical and mental fatigue.

An undetermined human mind is similar to a cushion. It accepts without being selective- all the heads with positive as well as negative thoughts. A revolutionary mindset always demands thinking and envisaging circumstances far beyond the current ones. It is the urge to embrace the change. Change for the better. Change which is the reason of our core survival.

Revolution was always on the mind of the stalwarts who made things happen. It is no one's monopoly. Thank god in spite of the globalized economy and the privatization oriented economics, revolution was, is and will always be in a public domain- thus giving every individual a reason to hope, aspire and develop in whatever paradigms one defines for oneself!

I do not wish to be a woodcutter in the desert...

A lot has already been said about life, about its purpose and about living it. Today, I wish to venture beyond the realms which gauge me optimistic else pessimistic. I intend to portray myself as neither of them. Life seen by a toddler, by a young burning heart and an aged skin, all differ in their perceptions. The vantage point changes from time to time and man is in the persistent quest of the purpose. Well I cannot generalize it... but atleast I can say, I feel the necessity of being in that quest...

I always tried to figure out the purpose. I do not wish to be philosophical, preachy else a maverick. This is no Dias for creating a different self-image. Am previlaged to be brought up in a contented cocoon. Nevertheless the disparity around, sends a cold wave down the spine. There is disparity around and the volume of which is so huge that, no other thing seems more worth fighting. A human is a human because of something called sympathy, at times empathy. This is it, whatever it is, that drives him or her towards reducing the apathy around. However, is this reason entertaining and sufficient to drive us through the average human life span is the question I propose. Man is in the quest of growth and this “growth” has different definitions for different people. Morality, immorality, a thought worth thinking of- is all person specific, subjectivity. If the all-mighty made this wonderful planet, in first place I question the penury embedded within. All aspire for materialistic comfort of their people and I am no exception. However, it cannot be the sole intent of human existence.

A smile on a deprived face is more worth and difficult in achieving than any materialistic, mortal aspiration. I always tried to look life in the eye. There are moments some have so often that they stop acknowledging that they have one. While some moments always wait to be celebrated, but the strugglers never give up accepting they cannot have one. I found my purpose and I am sure, though the reasoning may change with time, the core purpose of my next vantage point would remain the same.

Smile is a two-inch concave gesture. To get that somewhere around oneself is a wonderful and priceless triumph. As someone said, the goal is not to live forever but to create things that will.
